Home Ground provides a full decking design and construction service. Using a wide range of ethically sourced decking materials, Home Ground can construct areas of decking to suit all gardens. Garden decking looks fantastic all year round, complementing any garden and adding value to your home. We have a well established portfolio of decking projects, and have worked with clients through East Cheshire including decking projects in Macclesfield, Prestbury, Alderley Edge and Wilmslow.
Home Ground designs and builds high quality bespoke timber decks and outdoor timber structures. Our decking materials are sourced locally, from Timber Merchants based in East Cheshire.
We specialise in building with both Soft and Hardwood decking, ensuring we cater for all tastes and budgets.
Our hardwood decking is usually constructed using Ipe. This we have also carefully sourced to ensure it comes from managed sources, we do not restrict ourselves and we will build your deck in the material of your choice.

Softwood Decking
This is a cost effective product, usually a pressure treated and tannilised pine decking timber plank. It is available in both a deep grooved and smooth finish. This is a fantastic product for the budget conscious wanting to create a new garden reception space.
Hardwood Decking
Ipe
A beautiful dark wood, that can be polished to enhance the natural depths of this wood. Extremely robust and hard wearing, this can be used to create a stunning contemporary deck. This is very much a premium decking product, and is reflected in the price.
Talli
Light brown in colour, this is another hardwood option for clients looking for an alternative to Ipe.
Balau
The heartwood is yellow-brown, varying to brown and dark reddish-brown, with an interlocked grain and a moderately fine and even texture. A very hard wearing wood, giving a wonder aesthetic.
