Our client in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire requested our Landscaping services to tackle their overgrown and tiered back garden. After a site consultation Home Ground Landscape Gardening was able to provide the clients with a comprehensive 3d landscape design for their new garden. The overgrown and established leyalandaii hedgerow around the perimeter of the garden was removed to allow more light into the new garden area. We then set about securing and improving the perimeter of the garden using our fencing services , constructing a new feather edge closeboard fence line along the sides of the garden. In order to give the garden a more contempaorary feel we constructed a new hardwood fence line whoch provides a wonderful finish with deep browns and reds running through the wood. The stong lateral lines makes the garden feel much wider too. Once the new garden fencing was completed on this project in Holmes Chapel, the site was cleared and levelled using plant machinary. We then set about constructing the block work for the raised renderred planting beds. The new garden decking sub-frame was then completed ready to recieve the balau hardwood garden decking boards.
The two areas of balau hardwood decking provide wonderful platforms for al fresco dining and sun bathing. The bright white and greens of the new planting scheme add further colour to the garden. The minimalist planting scheme provides a balance of colour, shape and aroma with a mix of bamboo, photinia fraseri, phormium tenax, lollipop euonynmous and some wonderful esplaier capinus trees.
The hardwood balau decking is a wonderful product to work with, the deep rich colours and grain of the timber creates a striking entertaining space for th clients to enjoy with their family and friends.
An intergrated garden lighting system also provides further interest, the garden comes alive after dark with the espalier trees softly lit providing a real wow factor at night.
