About the project

We were asked to landscape the front of this property in Prestbury follwing a home rennovation project, as the garden areas had been eaten up by the building works. There was little in the way of a front or rear garden when we arrived onsite. After completing the rear garden ,we were asked to produce ideas to re-landscpae the area with a traditional box hedge garden to compliment the period nature of the property. The client had a stong idea of how the new garden might look, with two regimented box hedge rows providing symetry and balance to the front garden area. A reclaimed brick pathway, was laid in a herringbone style, to enhance the character of the fron garden. Although time consuming, this was well worth it, it creates a striking contrast against the rich greens of the buxus hedgrow and spheres. The rest of the garden was splashed with accents of colur, coming from some perrenial and herbaceous planting. The use of decortaive garden aggregate further accentuates the proud bo spheres and provides perfect cover to impede weed growth. The ready to plant 1metre lngths of buxus gave instant effect, and neatly completed a lenghty rennovation project for the clients. This garden gave us an great oppurtunity to showcase alternatives styles and skills, we dont just do modern! It ws a pleasure and a privalage to work on and took us 12 days to complete the landscaping works, with a total build cost of £9500.
