About the project

This driveway in Mottram St Andrew cames as a result of our fencing work earlier in the year and was constructed using Indian Sandstone Fossil Buff. The ground was cleared using plant machinary, ready to reiceve a new sub base of MOT type one. The sub base was laid at a depth of 8-10 inches in order to stabilise the ground and recieve both pedestrian and vehicular traffic. The paving was edges using matching sandstone cobbles and a new path constructed to guide foot traffic. The project took only 6 days to complete thanks to some fantastic weather, with a final build cost of £5500.
