For this driveway project in Wilmslow Home Ground was called in to revive the front of the house. The driveway was in a sorry state and was in need of rejuvination. We quickly set to work clearing the front of the house, excvating the area to recieve a new mot sub base. The edge of the driveway was deliniated using Marshalls Tegula block paving blocks, these were well set on a strong mortar mix to accomodate vehicle traffic. A front patio reception area and pathway were also constructed using the Marshalls Tegula block paving. The client chose a golden 20mm aggregate to create a warm and welcoming front driveway area, we used approximately 10 tonnes to create the new driveway area. We also constructed two new brick pillars, to be fitted with outdoor lighting. The pillars were neatly finished off with a natural stone coping stone and lantern. The project was complted over 9 days at final cost of £6700.
