About the project

This decking and paving project in Wilmslow was completed in June 2012. The clients brief was simple - a cost effective transformation of the garden area. We worked with the client to develop a practical garden design building an Indian Sandstone, Decking area and raised sleeper beds. The garden was excavated by hand and a new sub base laid in readiness to recieve the new Indian Sandstone patio. The decking was constructed using 38mm thick soft wood treated timber. The new rasied decking give ample space for a small table and chairs, with the new patio accomodating a large garden dining table set, and nmost important of all the barbecue. The addition of two raised sleeper beds allows space for the inclusion of architectural planting, bringing colour and fragrance into the new garden area.
