About the project

This landscaping project in Wilmslow is our pride and joy! Our clients had produced a series of design drafts of how they wanted the garden to look. Strongly influenced by clean stright lines and geometric shapes. The existing garden was a blank canvas of lawn, with the aquisition of additional land, to create a new area for their young children to play and enjoy. With a final design agreed on, the garden came to life over two months. The excavtion work carried out using a mini digger, due to access, and all waste material barrowed away by hand. The main dekcing recpetion area was constructed using hardwood Ipe dekcing. This rich chocolate brown timber, provides a striking entertaining space. We also used this to create two wall art panels, creating an interesting and unique visual. The artficial lawn area gives a generous spcae for the children to play all year round, and alleviates the need for mowing. The raised renderred planting beds reflect the light back into the garden and accentuate the faux box hedging. With the oak sleeper beds creating perfect platforms for a blend of shrubs and perrenials to thrive. The stainless steel water feature, stainless steel wall panels and free standing bespoke monolith sculpture, all add unique points of interest to the garden, giving a sumptuous feast for the eyes. With the sound of running water enhancing the enjoyment of the outdoor space. The sliding black perspex door, reveals a storage space for the shed. With an integrated remote control power and lighting system, this garden truly comes to life after dark. (please see our portfolio to view the garden at night). The project grew during our time onsite, with the front of the house benefitting from a new granite cobble path and courtyard. It was a privalage to work with the client on this project, and an honour to work with the high end materials. The project was completed after 2months t a cost of £90000.
